GST 2.0 (from 22 Sep 2025, Notification 9/2025-CT(Rate)): main slabs 5% and 18%, plus 40% for sin and luxury goods. 3% (gold/jewellery) and 0.25% (rough diamonds) still apply; 12% remains for a few items such as bricks.
