Multi-resolver DNS check
dig @resolver for the domain you enter. Do not use this to probe systems you are not authorized to check. Private/localhost targets are blocked.See what public resolvers return
After updating nameservers or records, use this DNS propagation checker to compare answers from several well-known resolvers. Pair with DNS lookup for a single-resolver dump, or SPF / MX for mail-focused checks.
Frequently asked questions
What is DNS propagation?
After you change DNS records, different resolvers may still serve cached answers until TTLs expire. This tool queries several public resolvers so you can compare what they return.
Is this private like PDF tools?
No. Checking public DNS requires our server to query resolvers. The domain name you enter is processed by the lookup API.
Which resolvers do you use?
Common public DNS services such as Google (8.8.8.8), Cloudflare (1.1.1.1), Quad9 (9.9.9.9), OpenDNS, and AdGuard — via dig @server.
Why might answers differ?
Caching, TTL, anycast, or incomplete propagation. Empty answers can also mean the record type is not published.
Can I query localhost or private IPs?
No. Private, reserved, and local names are blocked (SSRF protection).
