Honest note: This uses public RDAP only (rdap.org, which redirects to the registry). It is not a paid WHOIS service and cannot reveal redacted personal data. The domain you enter is sent to our API and then to the public RDAP service.
Public domain registration data
RDAP is the modern replacement for WHOIS. Use it to see registration and expiry dates, nameservers, domain status codes, and — when the registry publishes it — the registrant organization. Expect gaps: privacy redaction is normal and this tool will not invent missing fields.
Frequently asked questions
Is this full WHOIS?
No. It is public RDAP. Many contact fields are redacted by the registry under privacy rules. We only show what RDAP returns, including registrant organization when it is public.
Do you query a private WHOIS database?
No. Requests go to rdap.org, which redirects to the appropriate registry RDAP server.
Why is the registrant blank?
Most gTLD registries redact personal names and emails. An organization is shown only when the registry publishes it.
Can I look up private hostnames?
Local and private names are rejected. This tool is for public domain registration data.
