Random UUIDs without a backend

UUID v1 / v7?
This page focuses on v4 (random) and the NIL UUID. Time-based versions are not included.
How random is it?
Browsers use a CSPRNG via Web Crypto. Collision risk for v4 is negligible for normal use.
Uppercase?
Yes — choose UUID v4 UPPERCASE if your system expects capital hex.
