Merge PDF Files Without Uploading

Combine PDFs (and JPG, PNG or WebP images) into one PDF right in your browser. Put the files in order, keep only the pages you need, rotate, and download. Your documents never leave your device.

1. Add your files

    2. Options

Only used for JPG / PNG / WebP files
🔒 Everything happens in this browser tab using the open-source pdf-lib and Mozilla pdf.js libraries. Your files are read from your device and the merged PDF is saved back to it. Check it yourself: open developer tools → Network, then merge — no request carries your files. After this page loads you can even go offline.

How to merge PDF files without uploading

    1. Add files. Tap “Choose PDF files”, drag them onto the box, or paste them. Photos and scans in JPG, PNG or WebP become PDF pages too.
    2. Set the order. Drag rows, use the ↑ ↓ buttons, or sort by file name. The first file in the list becomes the first pages of the merged PDF.
    3. Pick pages (optional). Type the pages to keep for each file, such as 1-3, 7, or rotate a file that was scanned sideways.
    4. Merge and download. Press Merge PDF. The new file is built on your device in a few seconds and saved with the name you chose.

Why merge PDFs in the browser instead of uploading them?

Most free PDF mergers send your files to their servers, process them there and delete them “after an hour or two”. That is fine for a menu card, but the PDFs people merge most are often private: bank statements for a loan, salary slips, Aadhaar and PAN scans for a KYC, admission forms, medical reports, signed contracts and invoices. With this tool there is no upload step, so there is nothing to store, leak or delete later.

    Common jobs this merger handles

    TaskHow
Combine 3 bank statements into one PDF for a loanAdd all three, sort A→Z if they are named by month, merge.
Aadhaar front and back photos into one PDFAdd both JPGs, keep “Fit on A4 page”, merge. Need a smaller file? Use compress afterwards.
Drop a blank or unwanted pageType the pages to keep, e.g. 1-4, 6- skips page 5.
Put the signed last page back into a contractAdd the contract twice and the signed scan once; use 1-9, then the scan, then 11-.
Print several files double-sidedTick “Start each file on a new sheet” so no file starts on the back of another.
Reverse a scan that came out back to frontType last-1 in the page box.

    Frequently asked questions

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. The merge runs in JavaScript inside your browser. The page loads the pdf-lib and pdf.js libraries once, then your files are read and written locally. You can confirm it in your browser’s developer tools (Network tab) or by turning off Wi-Fi after the page has loaded — merging still works.

How many PDFs can I merge at once? Is there a size limit?

There is no fixed limit on the number of files, pages or megabytes. Your device’s memory is the only limit. Computers handle several hundred megabytes easily; on an older phone, merge large scans in smaller batches if the browser reloads the page.

Can I merge only some pages of a PDF?

Yes. Each file has a page box. Type ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8- (8 to the end), last for the final page, or 5-1 to reverse. Leave it as “all” to use every page.

Can I merge JPG or PNG images with PDFs?

Yes. Add JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or BMP images in the same list. Each image becomes one page, either fitted on an A4 or Letter page with a small margin or on a page the exact size of the image.

    Does merging reduce quality?

No. PDF pages are copied without re-rendering, so text, vector graphics and images stay exactly as they were. JPG images are embedded as-is; other image types are embedded losslessly as PNG.

    Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Encrypted PDFs cannot be merged here; the tool marks them with a warning instead of producing a broken file. Open the PDF in a viewer that knows the password, save or “print to PDF” a copy without a password, then add that copy.

Will bookmarks, form fields and digital signatures survive?

Page content, links and annotations are copied. The outline (bookmarks) of the original files is not combined, and fillable forms may be flattened by some viewers. A digital signature only covers the original file, so it will not be valid in the merged PDF — send the signed original separately when a valid signature matters.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. It works in Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox and Samsung Internet. On a phone, tap “Choose PDF files” and pick from Files, Downloads or Google Drive (downloaded to the phone). Use the ↑ ↓ buttons to reorder.

Is it really free? Is a watermark added?

Yes, it is free with no account, no daily limit and no watermark. The output is a normal PDF that opens in any reader.

How do I make the merged PDF smaller?

Merging does not compress anything. If the result is too big for an upload portal, run it through the compress tab in the PDF Toolkit, or shrink large photos first with Resize Image in KB before adding them.
