Complex multi-column designer layouts, photo headshots, charts, and cover-letter workflows are limited or absent. localStorage is per-browser and can be cleared by the user or privacy tools — export PDF backups. Very long CVs may need editing for A4 fit. Always proofread; the builder does not fact-check dates or spell-check every language.

How to make a resume online (step by step)
- Header: your name, target job title, email, phone, city and LinkedIn or portfolio link.
- Summary: 2–3 lines on who you are, years of experience and what you are best at, tailored to the job.
- Experience: most recent job first; 3–5 bullets each that start with an action verb and show a result (“Cut onboarding time 30%”).
- Education, skills, projects and certifications: keep them relevant to the role and use the same wording as the job ad where it is true.
- Export: download the PDF, open it to proofread, and name it like Firstname-Lastname-Resume.pdf.

Is the PDF ATS-friendly?
Use the ATS template and the Text PDF (ATS) button. That saves the resume through your browser's print-to-PDF, so the text stays selectable and can be read by applicant tracking systems. The Download PDF button makes an image-based PDF that looks identical everywhere but is not machine-readable, so prefer the text PDF for online applications.
Is my resume uploaded to ITCOH?
No. Your draft is stored only in this browser (localStorage), and PDFs are generated on your device. Nothing you type is sent to our server.
How do I keep a backup or move my resume to another device?
Click Export JSON to save a small backup file. Later, or on another computer, click Import JSON to load it back and keep editing.
Can I switch templates without retyping?
Yes. Your content stays in the form; the Classic, Modern, Compact and ATS templates only change the layout and styling.
How long should my resume be?
For most roles, one page with up to about 10 years of experience, or two pages for senior roles. Lead each job with 3–5 bullet points that show results, ideally with numbers.
Do I need to add a photo?
In the US, UK, Canada and India, photos are usually left off resumes and ATS systems ignore them, so this builder keeps resumes text-only.
