Turn any photo into a perfect circle for a profile picture, logo or sticker. Drag to centre the face, zoom in, add a ring if you like, and save a transparent PNG.
Choose Circle for profile photos and icons — it is always 1:1, so it fits the round frames used by WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Discord, Google and YouTube. Choose Oval for a classic cameo look on invitations, family-tree charts, memorial cards and vintage portraits; the oval follows the aspect ratio you pick, such as 4:5 or 3:4 for a portrait.
Keep the eyes slightly above the centre line; the faint grid helps. Leave a little space above the head — round frames hide the corners, so a tight crop can cut the hair. If the photo is small, export at the original resolution rather than upscaling to 2048 px. For a sticker look, remove the background first with the background remover, then crop the transparent result into a circle with a thick white border.
Need a square instead? Use the square crop tool. For softly rounded square avatars, use the rounded corner image tool.
Open this page, add your photo, drag and zoom it inside the circle and press Download PNG. It is free, needs no account and adds no watermark.
The PNG from this tool has transparent corners. Some viewers show transparency as white or black. If you place it in a slide, document or website, the background behind it will show through.
Most apps display profile pictures small, but they store larger copies. Exporting at 1024 × 1024 px is safe for WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and YouTube; use 512 px if you need a smaller file.
Yes. Choose Oval under Shape and pick an aspect ratio such as 4:5 or 3:4 for a portrait oval, or set your own width and height.
Yes. Use the Border slider and colour picker. The ring is drawn inside the circle, so the final image stays exactly the size you chose.
